From a Gloomy Face to a Friendly One: Our Beloved Sir

It was March of 2019, the beginning of a new academic year. We, the students of the LPE- 06 batch, were waiting for our next class. Some students were gossiping, some were playing games on their smartphones, and I & my friends were making fun with each other. Around 12:10 pm a young man wearing glass with a gloomy face,  holding a duster & marker suddenly entered our classroom. Suddenly, all the students became silent because he was our new class teacher assigned to take our IPE class. Then he introduced himself with a smiley face & also took our intro. On the very first day after class, I told my friends that the guy seemed very serious and we should not talk in his class; otherwise he will punish us all.

First Impression of sir according to me

But after some classes we realized that he was unlike other typical teachers; rather he was so friendly. He took our lessons very carefully & tried to make them easy for us. Sometimes he made fun, sometimes he discussed other non-academic but thought-provoking issues. Even one day he came with a survey form that was based on some interesting questions related to our dreams, hopes, frustrations, likings, and career. Again one day he told us to write something on paper & give it to him. Through these interesting activities, he created a distinct image of him. Most of the students started to like him. Even I know some of my friends who discussed their problems with him after regular class time because they rely on him & he was always there to help. He was not only the teacher of a good student but also the teacher of the students who were backbenchers. He wrote articles about his students and sometimes drew illustrations of them. I want to add that he was the first teacher whose birthday was celebrated in our classroom.

Birthday Celebration of Sir

He always tried to encourage all types of students. He is one of my favorite teachers. Can you guess who is he??

?He is our respectful teacher Rafe Zayed .

Me with sir

He was not only our class teacher but also a good friend and a guide for us.We all respect him & I think what I have written is every student's word.
